UK – Automated Reporting for Energy Portfolio
GridLENZ enables automated HTML / web reporting for community assets
Overview & Client Problem
Plymouth Energy Community, a community energy organisation based in south west UK, has over 30 sites where they are providing power purchase agreements (PPA) for solar energy installed on the roofs of schools & community buildings.
The projects have been financed by community investment from both individuals and the local authority (Plymouth City Council). As such, it is critical to consistently communicate and analyse the performance of the assets to all of the relevant stakeholders to both ensure performance is meeting expectations and also to make sure everyone is aware of the portfolios performance.
To consistently provide this report takes time for someone to put together and so the key problem to solve was - how can we create a report template that can be created regularly (monthly, quarterly and specific time periods) that can be accessed by all of the different interested parties - saving time, money but also enabling easy access for all.
Argand’s Solution
Argand Solutions proposed to create an automated HTML report for PEC that will provide a shareable link that PEC can then send to any interested party to enable clean, easy and well-communicated performance data about their portfolio of energy assets.
You can see an overview of what we created in the short video below.
Client Benefits
The result has enabled the client to save time & money in creating the report, and to also enable huge sharing benefits via the shareable public link for each report - meaning that the report can be accessed by anyone with the public link without having to have login credentials for Argand’s platform.
